The Max TOTAL Gen 2 sensors are built to out perform OEM sensors with a stronger signal that can be read through aftermarket tires up to 40". With frequency range between 314mhz and 434.5 mhz, the tpms can be programmed to work with most vehicles on the road today. Providing your vehicle year, make, and model allows us to pre-program the sensor to your specific car. You can replace a single tpms sensor to work alongside your factory tpms with the Max Sensor Gen 2 TPMS. When replacing a tpms sensor, you will have to go through a "re-learning" process so the system can sync up with the new tpms sensor. Each vehicle make will have a different process to learn the new tpms which can be found in your vehicle user manual.
